Joomla 4.3.3 and 3.10.12: Upholding Accessibility Standards, Introducing New Improvements and Fixes

Keeping up with the updates, Joomla 4.3.3 brings along a series of enhancements and fixes:

• Guided Tours: Guided tours have been introduced, enabling users to navigate the platform more efficiently.
• Menu Fixes: Fixed the missing menu in the alternate menu preset and the missing note search in search fields.
• RSS Feeds: HTML entities have been removed from the title.
• Menus: 'Create article' menu item should not be saved if 'specific category' is enabled and no category has been selected.
• Quickicon: Language Quickicon should now redirect to the language page. The Quickicon should not be displayed if the associated component is inactive.
• Joomla Update: Fixed the URL of Joomla's update Help button.
• Templates: For child templates, the /media folder should always be visible, even if no media file or folder is present.
• UX/UI: Fixed the issue where the pagination counter was hidden behind pagination on mobile. The text button should remain visible when focused.
• Media Manager: Introduced better cache invalidation. If a modified_date is present (as a unix timestamp), it should be used, else fallback to the existing mediaversion. The path variable should also be considered (regression fix).

What’s Shipped with 3.10.12?

The 3.10.12 release updates the cacert.pem files shipped with the core and bumps the version number. These files are used to check SSL certificates depending on the host setup and should be as up-to-date as possible.
